The Stony Brook Community Church is located in the historic Stony Brook Village on the north shore of Long Island, Suffolk County, between Cedar St and Stony Brook Ave. From points west and east: Take the Long Island Expressway to exit 62 N. Proceed north on Nicolls Rd for about 7 miles to the T-junction with State Hwy 25A. Turn left (west) and proceed to the Stony Brook Train Station (1/2 mile). Turn right onto Cedar St at the traffic light and proceed to the traffic light at end (1/2 mile). Turn left onto Christian Ave and the church is about 250 yards on your left. See the clickable Mapquest road map for further details. On either side of the sanctuary building lies the Opportunity Shop (Op Shop; left) and the Administrative Building (Sullivan House; right). Behind the church is the North Shore Montessori School.There is plenty of parking available.
