Welcome to our third annual summer Performing Arts Camp@ Stony Brook Community Church! PAC is a Musical Theatre Workshop for Ages 7 to 15, that includes Acting, Voice, Dance, Improvisation and Rehearsals for an Open House Performance of an abridged Musical Theatre Production on the last day of each session. Parents and friends enjoy these performances free of charge.
All classes are taught by theatre professionals. Staff Bios may be viewed by clicking on the link below. The cost is $495 per session with a 10% discount for siblings and double sessions.
Session 1: June 28 - July 16 Session 2: July 19 - Aug 6; classes will meet Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 3 PM.
No experience is required. We offer professional instruction in a small camp atmosphere, with the goal of raising each child's personal performance skills level, while having FUN learning to excel as a group. Our park-like playground allows for outdoor recreation at lunch break, weather permitting, and our facility is wheelchair accessible.
We have one Councilor in Training job opening per session. Our CIT leads by participation in all classes, acts as dance captain, performs in the production, tidies up the classroom and helps supervise the younger children on the playground. The CIT must be at least 14 years old and have CPR and First Aid certification.
